CHIEF PILOT - PART 121
INDUSTRY: TRANSPORT - AIR
LOCATION: Port Moresby, NCD, Papua New Guinea
The Chief Pilot is responsible for the direction and oversight of the Fixed Wing Flight Operations department by setting and maintaining policy that supports the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the objectives of the Air Operators Certificate and Foreign Air Operators Certificate.
Day-to-day duties will include:
overall policy relating to the safety
Setting and Implementation of Flight Operation’s Policies and Procedures
Definition and Implementation of a Flight Operations Management structure
Manage FW Flight Operations management team accountabilities
Implementing a system of flight crew administration
Liaise with Maintenance Control and/ or the Engineer Department
Ensure operational safety and compliance is maintained
Responsible for the management of risk within FW Flight operations
oversight of the training and Competency System.
Qualified Candidates must have a PNG ATPL License for the type of aircraft assigned to and/ or the ability to acquire in a timely manner and at least have a minimum of 5000 hours and has had experience with minimum of 3000 hours in command.
Experience is the Chief Pilot Roles is preferred.
